Sponsored ProductsThe list below contains some of the items which have been popular and successful with sponsored fundraising organizations. They can be used at events (a t-shirt at a 5K race or a bowling shirt at a 'Bowling for Seniors' event with sponsor ads on the back, for example) or at a retail outlet (coffee mugs sold in a hospital's gift shop or stadium cushions with sponsor advertising sold by a high school Booster Club). Everything you might use at your event can be sponsored from the award ribbons and trophies to the ink pens and note pads. Check with your potential sponsors. Tell them, for instance, that you would like to use imprinted bags with information about your upcoming building project or mission work to hand out to the visitors at your church picnic. Every member of your church will get one as will every guest that they bring. You would like to put their logo on the bag and mention them as a sponsor. They can have 1/2 of the front of the bag (3" x 6"; you will use the other 18 square inches for your imprint) for $150 or share the front with another sponsor with a 3" x 3" ad for $100. The same could work for frisbees, water or sports bottles, lunch bags, golf towels and anything else that can be imprinted. The list below does not include everything that might be used. The links will take you to pages showing one or several manufacturers and are meant to give you a sense of what is available. Let us know what items you are considering and we will check pricing against other manufacturers as well as sale pricing to get you the best value. We understand how important it is to buy low so you can sell at reasonable prices. |

Let's look at the math for something like tee shirts you sell 144 short sleeve colored tee shirts with a one color imprint on both sides at $12 each=$1728 your cost for the tees would be $6.02 each which leaves a profit of $861.12. Sell 9 sponsor ads on the back at $100 per add and increase your profit to $1761.12. If your demographic allows a higher price, go for it. If you don't think you can get $12 per shirt, don't worry...The $900 in sponsorship ads on the back have more than paid the entire cost of the 144 shirts, so every dollar you raise in sales is a dollar toward meeting your fundraising goal. |
